Silverstream Academy is a young primary school in Embu County, Kenya, and became a trusted partner for education in 2021.
It was opened in 2008 with just a nursery class and has grown to now having pre-school, pre-primary, and primary classes up to year 8. Boarding accommodation was added in 2017 and there are now 48 borders aged 10-13 and 255 day pupils aged 3-13.
The school has adopted the new national 2:6:3:3:3 curriculum (covering just the 2 years of pre-primary and 6 years of primary sections)

The school day starts with children arriving from 7 am. Assembly is at 8 am then lessons run from 8.30 am to 4 pm with 4 breaks during the day.
